    Yet another question.

I feel like a pest, but then again, I suppose these stupid questions are the reason you folks are here.

Before I do any more work on my website, I want to know if each time I upload my "index" page, does it override the old one? I just don't want to take up server space if the pile on top of each other.

    Thanks,
    Tom

    Hey Tom!

Don't worry you have alot of space - don't worry it won't effect it. Everytime you update (publish) your index page or any page it will over ride the other one you had published.
    Best regards,
    Jeremy

Yes- it over writes the old one.

However, if you have a few gif's or jpegs on your page and you switch them - the old jpegs stay on the server in the folder you have the web page in. For examlple- index is kept in the public_html folder and all pics associated with it. Therefore, you would find old pics there. If you had a subdomain and changed the pics on pages in the subdomain- the old pics would be in that folder.

So every once in a while do some house cleaning of old gif's and jpeg's.

        Jeremy and Andy,

Thank you very much. Great place to do business.

        Things are smooth so far.
