Need Help With Add-on Domain
my domain is: www.myfamilyfunspot.com
I purchased a second domain yesterday and I have had some troubles getting it set up right.
1.I tried to change the name servers at VH Domains like the tutorial said but after I select the new account to change it, the page looks right but it says: "Current Servers-Our DNS Servers"
then it has a list of 5 servers...
dns1.name-services.com
dns....and so on down to
dns5.....
It also won't configure, it goes to a different kind of page that says:
Nameserver Status: all name server info is correct
Then it has a grid for: Host Records set-up
Does this mean I don't need to change anything??, or if I do, will you please tell me what to change? I tried step by step from the tuorial?!
2. I read on her somewhere that:
You would set up an add on domain, if you wanted to use your account to host another website ... e.g., another totally different website address, for one that you purchased a domain name for ....
If so, that is what I intended to do when I purchased the add on domain name. Does that mean that one site can be operated totally seperate from the other? Also how do I build on both sites in Soho at the same time. Meaning that my 1st one isn't finished or published yet but I would like to start building my 2nd one is Soho as well.
