Domain name change questions

I opened and registered a site and domain through Vodahost earlier this year and I have changed my mind on what I will be doing on this site therefore would like to change the name.

Does a Domain name change also change my url? Example if I had a site url of www.mysite.com and wanted to change it to www.yoursite.com would that happen through domain name change?

Also, I have read other posts that have answers of just submit a support ticket to do this. But I could swear at one point I heard there is a fee for Domain name change. Is there a fee, or is it as simple as submiting a ticket?

By the way, my account is not up for renewal yet, so it won't be a matter of just changing it at renewal time. Any help would be appreciated.

Domain name changes on web hosting accounts are free if the account is under 30 days old, if the account is older than 30 days a US$30 admin fee will apply.
