Hi!
I am moving over several websites from another hosting company.
I wanted to add a new domain name, and since it came with the hosting I did it through Vodahost when I signed up.
Each of these websites are relatively unrelated.
1) The new domain does not point to the address
I received in my welcome letter. The test index.html comes up fine with the IP in the letter, but the domain name does not point to it. Is this normal?
2) Can I make this new domain be a add on domain and continue to use the temporary domain as the root?
3) Are there any pitfalls in this scheme - I will be using a number of MySQL databases, for example.
4) If I must have an actual root website, can it be one of the ones I am moving over?
Thanks,
Ted Schober
