    Domain Transfer From One.com

Hello Vodahost, my last Thread was deleted.
    - but here i go again.
A week ago i bought a Vodahost Web account. i own a domain called:
Snowstyle.dk - and was wandering if i in any possible way could transfer it to you , so that i could use Bluevoda website builder for my webpage and your hosting.
is this possible or do i have to buy a whole new domain name that ends with .com ?

    Dearest regards
    Mikkel

      Re: Domain Transfer From One.com

      Hello again,
now i think i got the picture of it all.
but - the tutorial says that i need to unlock it.
      - but the domains with .dk does not need to be unlocked.
      - &the admenstrative thing, is 100% Fully Accessible by me.

now this made me more confused , then everything should be just fine.
but i have allready tried to transfer it . but it failed.
my domain name is www.snowstyle.dk - and i bought a vodahost account . and my currently registrar says that the transfer failed.
my domain is at Dk-Hostmaster - and they have not accepted voadahost as a web-hoster.

      What do i do X(

        Re: Domain Transfer From One.com

Hi Mikkel... my experience here in US with godaddy and BV... the site needs to be unlocked and the servers of your present host have to be changed to the servers you have been assigned by Voda Host... then if it's an addon domain to your snowstyle account you need to set one up an addon domain through the control panel.. see tutorial... Oh.. and it can take a while before the transfer is complete..but remember they have to know to what servers they are transferring to... if all else fails... submit a ticket.. It's doable... Doug

          This really confuses me.
now they say your nameserver: ns1.voda16.com - aint accepted my Dk-hostmaster.

really doesn't this mean i have to create a whole new domain name ?

            Mike..

Yes you have to create the domain in your cpanel as an addon domain if its not the primary one u set the vodahost account up with.

Hi ... It's your domain name seems like they should let you move it to any host you want.. If Not... You may be able to direct inquiries to that domain to a sub domain you create here at Voda Host... Submit a ticket here at Voda Host... They'll help you sort it all out.. Sometimes it can be a real hassle... Doug
