    Help with second site

    Hi
I have just added a second domain to my account. www.quantumwebworks.com but it comes up with some other site. I quickly did a site under construction page and published it to a sub folder of my public html folder. but it only comes up under http://www.quantumphotography.net/qu...orks/index.php

Any ideas anyone where i have buggered it up.

    Thanks Darren

Hi, publish you new version index page to public_html//quantumwebworks/ & it should get rid of the add. I would imagine it is to get some sort of page up at http://www.quantumwebworks.com/

      Thanks,

But i tried doing as you said with extra forward slashes as you had but still no good. To top it off everytime I test the page it comes up with a virus. See screen capture.

This is giving me more grey hairs....lol

        Hey Darren

There is an extremely good thread on this subject somewhere in the forum but I can't seem to find it. But I'll keep looking for you. How did you save your index page?

          G'day Darren,
It's up running ok. That screenshot you showed is one of those Advertising sites used when Domains are parked. These have caused a lot of new domain owners bewilderment and concern until they realise they aren't anything but free adverts being used by the host or whomever controls the domain I guess.
You might also have a caching problem in the meantime. They say that hitting F5 repeatedly a number of times usually clears your browsers cache.
