    Transfer complete but...

    Hi everyone

    From the support team i got this...

    Your domain transfer is complete.
    Your DNS has been updated. Please allow 24 hours for propagation.

    I left a lot more than 24 hours (more like 48 hours) but when i tried just now to preview my index page before publishing, all i got was text.
    I can see a couple of things when i get to my home page www.dvattika.com including the coppermine gallery i have installed but even there i can`t seem to upload any pictures.

    Is there anything that i am missing or anything else that i should have done ?

    Any help ?

    You must publish your home page as index, lower case only, and no spaces.. have you done this?

        OK, i have now published the index page, www.dvattika.com but there is a small problem, the blue border around the photo was actually black, can someone tell me why it shows in blue and when i clicked on it it changed its colour to purple ?

          Because they are links. When am image is a link its default it blue, and when you click the link it becomes a visited link and the color becomes purple just like a regular link that doesn't have its colors defined

            So if i got it right, we can`t have any black border on the pictures then as they don`t show in black ?

              Open up the link properties, you can change a link to be any colour you want it to be by using the 'style' menu
              Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.

                Hi, try cutting & pasting the code below into a html box & see if it is ok. Its linked to your home page at the mo, so you may want to change that part.

                Good luck.
                Hi Marincky, Don't think there is a style menu for images. But might be wrong?

                HTML Code:
                <a href="http://www.dvattika.com/"><img src="http://www.dvattika.com/Dunure%20coast%20line%20-%20west%20Scotland%20-%206359.jpg" id="Image1" alt="" align="top" border="10" width="744" height="757"></a>
                <body link="black" body vlink="black" alink="black">
                Regards Chris.

                  Hi Chris, i have border on all the thumbnails in my gallery (not published yet), does that mean i have to do the same with the bellow code ?
                  If thats the case it means a lot of work, or should i publish them all without any borders at all ?

                  Hi Marincky

                  Thats true, no style menu there, it only says that you can add a border with the colour of your choice but what is the point when they show in blue because they are also links ?

                    If you right click on the image and choose html you can insert this tag on the INSIDE tag box

                    style="text-decoration: none"
                    And that should eliminate the blue bordered link on your picture.

                        Actually! If you keep the borders on your images & you can just paste this part in the head of your page

                        <body link="black" body vlink="black" alink="black">

                        Ps, you could do with bringing the image KB’s down on this page http://www.dvattika.com/gallery.html they are slowing the page down for the 1st time viewer.

                        .
