Domain Is About To Expire

Hi Gang!

My domain will be expiring in OCT 2008. I want to renew it and do not want to screw this up. I have been combing the threads but could not find this question. I have been getting letters from " Liberty Names of America" and "Domain Registry of America" stating I can renew my Domain with them.

Can I renew my BV Acct and Domain at the same time?? What is the Best course of action to with this??

Hi,

You can submit a support ticket requesting VBS to extend your subscriptions
for another year and they will send you an email requesting you to pay the amount which they will bill you.

Or you can go directly to your VBS account and follow the instructions there.

The letters you have been getting are a scam or sorts, whenever you get those just shred them, you don't have to do anything they say in the letters, everything they offer is a rip off

I'm glad I came across this thread.....I also just received a letter from LibertyNames about my domain name expiring in Oct 2008....I just threw it out and will wait to hear from VH on renewing.

Afraid of the emails?
More like totally annoyed that they crawl in to clog up my inbox. Worse, they come by the dozens in the mail as well, the first sign that it is a booming business (othewise they would not spend the money to actually mail pieces -- I mean "pitches" -- out to people)!!
