That wont work Im afraid....a redirect from the subdomain will go straight to the other website which is not actually showing anything at the moment.

You could go into your cpanel at http://www.paradoxworld.org/ and redirect that site to your published subdomain here at VH..........................

or you could point the dns of http://www.paradoxworld.org/ to your VH server where your main account is??????

Hi! Its me again! And, um, sorry but I've still not had any joy on the Sub-Domain issue. :(

Now then... I'd already redirected the DNS to the IP address of my account.

I've tried redirecting to my Sub-Domain here too, but I'm not sure I've added the link to Paradox's index page correctly.

I've tried linking to the VH Paradox index page using all of the folllowing ways...

http://74.86.118.24/~zqdescyj/public_html/paradox/index
http://74.86.118.24/~zqdescyj/public_html/paradox.index.html
http://74.86.118.24/~zqdescyj/public_html/paradox/index.html

And none seems to work - unless...

Just a thought but could the problem be that I've changed the IP address in the DNS as well as trying to change the site address? Is it, perhaps, a case of change one or the other but not both? Or do I maybe need to drop the " _html " from the end of " public "? Does having a double html in an address hinder the process?

Any ideas?

Cheers David but... what to I put in to link my Telivo domain to my Bluevoda index page? Telivo wants a published page to link to but I don't know what to put as the page address for it to link to. I've currently published the index page for paradox on your site building program:

http://74.86.118.24/~zqdescyj/public_html/paradox

so would the index page publish as:

http://74.86.118.24/~zqdescyj/public_html/paradox.index

or as something different?

Then goto your Telivo paradoxworld.org and create a link to your voda website....

Oh dear - this was my enquiry all along. I want the Bluevoda pages to open when I type in the established domain of http://www.paradoxworld.org

As I said, I've already published, as you stated as "index" only, the bluevoda page using the address/link or whatever its called that ends in :

public_html/paradox

But is that right for a Sub-domain or an Add-On domain? I want it for a sub domain only. When I type in the address for the domain to open which is as follows:

Nothing happens. A strange page came up but NOT the link to the page I published. What is it I'm doing wrong? How do I tell www.paradoxworld.org that its the "paradox index page" published by Bluevoda that I want it to open?

This basically means the same as above, that I've already published the index page build on your site building program ie Bluevoda.

I'd better add, actually, that Paradox is a subdomain within Bluevoda. My original index page belongs to, and works perfectly with, another Telivo (not Bluevoda) domain called http://www.endymiondreams.co.uk .

I dunno if that helps clear up any earlier confusion.

I have an account but I don't know about a domain. I only have my log in information. As far as i'm aware, I've not got an actual domain with Vodahost.

Okay, so what do I publish it under? Is it "public_html/paradox?" If i publish it without the "/paradox" its going to overwrite my Endymion homepage, right?
