OK.....if you are in fact adding the ".com" in the cPanel when you created the add-on, you will also need to add the ".com" to the Publish Dialog Box (so the directory is exactly specified).

If you are doing this, and it won't publish, then just ry to Publish as shown above, but try dropping the ".com" ---- just to see if it does work after all, and to appease Her Generalship!

If that does not work, you will need to delete and re-create the add-on.....USING THE .COM

The server is not reading the settings as you log in to publish....don't ask me why, but it happens regularly, stumping the best of us (just like trying to set up Outlook --- the settings do not get "archived" on the server, and prevents login unless re-established)

go into your control panel, enter into the public_html folder, then enter into the folder for this add on domain .. see what it is called there .. it will tell you .. or check under the add on domain icon, perhaps you misspelled something there .. check those notes to confirm what you typed ..

...because it was not properly created.....go to your cPanel Home Page, click Add-on Domains, and re-create the add-on properly, not forgetting to add the period in the ".com"

Please. One step at a time...by the numbers.

                            OK folder is there.

Went to publish and it say it was complete.

But I go to page and all I get is that index page.

Seems like we are getting somewhere though, just not sure where

I did that exactly, with the period.

It is recognizing the add on domain ( I believon the publish page would my server IP be different from before?
