Drop "html" code on end of site address

Hey, just a quick question: is it possible to drop the ".html" off the end of the site address? Let's say you're advertising it in a video and you want it to sound more professional so you want to say "Please log onto www.mywebsite.com/examplepage." NO .HTML. Is this possible, or no?

    Thanks,
    Jake

What you do is type in the text you want to display IE:

Hilite the whole thing or just the word you want linked, then click the link button (looks like chain over a globe, or go to insert and link)and type in the address. This way no www etc displays.. just the words you want seen.
