Sub domains for add on domains

Hi, Is it possible to use an add on domain with its own sub domains. I have already a main domain. I want to add on a domain unrelated to the main domain then add sub domains to the add on domain with content relative to the add on domain. I've tried to do this but seem to get the sub domains always as sub to the main domain. The domains I want to add are with another company, do I have to transfer the domains to BV as main domains.

In the add-on domain panel, scroll down and redirect.
