In the Cpanel what turns out to be PARKED DOMAIN? and which the difference regarding ADDON DOMAIN?

In which of them Myself add a new one domain name? Unlike the domain name in that I recorded my account?

Parked domain allow you to "point" or "park" additional domain names to your existing hosting account. This will allow users to also reach your website when entering the "parked domain" into their browsers.

is that not the same as adding another domain as an add on and then redirecting it to the other domain.

example
www.domain1.com
www.domain2.com
add www.domain2.com as an add on domain and then redirect it to www.domain1.com.
then when someone enters www.domain2.com on the web they get redirected to www.domain1.com

or am I missing something ?

Let's say you own abc.com, but you also own abc.net, abc.biz, abc.org, etc. You want these domains to also point to your same abc.com site so you "Park" them to your primary site. Another classic example for Domain Parking is if you owned one domain such as mycompany.com but for marketing purposes also used other domains like accountingservices.com or autodetailing.com, etc.
