Hi,
I have an old website hosted on another server, Network Solutions. Here's what I want to do.
1) Eliminate old site at Network Solutions
2) Publish new site at VH using BV
3) Make the transition reasonbly seamless, so I don't have someone get a 404 code page when I'm in the middle of it all.
4) I need to know if my e-mails will transfer (I assume I have to set them up in cPanel) or will there be a period of dead time due to propagation? If so, will the e-mails during the propagation be totally lost, or just lagging behind.
Note: I do not want to keep the original site. I have already built my new BV site, but I have not published it yet. I just need my existing domain name to bring up my new (soon-to-be-published) VH-hosted BV site.
Thanks for your help,
MattG
