  • Domain transfer

I tried to transfer a domain name to BV from ******* but they wont allow it due to 60 day rule.
Therefore my buddy who was hosting this site redirected domain name to be hosted at BV
When I applied for transfer from BV I was told to update the pointers to
    ns1.voda27.com
    ns2.voda27.com

I then purchase a hosting account for this site and given a
    address of 208.43.222.138

    Now I can't publish site.
What might I be doing wrong?

    Re: Domain transfer

You need to have your friend login to the domain registry and point it to those two ns1 and ns2 servers. Allow 24-72 hours for domain propogation.

      Re: Domain transfer

      Hi tchild1,

The 60day wait to transfer for all newly registered domain is mandatory.

As Karen pointed out you need the Username and Password of the cPanel
of the Domain Registrar who registered your domain name, so that you can Login and activate the necessary permissions for you to point your domain name to your Voda Servers.
