New domain name

I seem to be missing something here.

I want to buy a new domain name from VH and have an add-on site.

When I click on the ink to order a domain name I only get the option to register an existing domain name - which I haven't got, 'cause I haven't bought it yet.

Guidance, please

I have a Vodahost Account but I've never bought a domain name from them so I can't really advise.

I tend to buy my domains outside from a domain registrar (there are many on the web), which allow you to manage them and you can change the name servers to the ones VH gave you for your primary domain.

In your VH Control Panel you can add your new domain there in 'addon domains'

Now if you have done everything correctly you should be able to publish in about 24 hours (sometimes quicker)

The only difference is instead of publishing to public_html you will be publishing to public_html/myaddondomain

No doubt someone will be along who has purchased a domain name through VH and offer advice from this angle.
