domain name expired?

I have been emailing support about this and not really getting answers yet. I was hoping someone here might be able to explain it to me. I have had a website here since 2007. We pay for an professional site annually which includes a domain name. It is 94.50 per year. Have never had any problems. Recently we discovered our site is not working. Contacted support who told me our domain expired. It always renews with our annual payment as it is included in that service so how did it expire and how do I fix it?

Hi, after the first year the domain name is not included with the hosting renewal, you would need to renew the domain name separately.
