Kate you should have, within your BlueVoda folder, a seperate folder for your new site. In the new folder you are safe to name your new index page: index

If you name it index and save it to your normal file it will overwrite your others.

I will try and help you, sweet, but need to know exactly what you are trying to do.

Anything to do with your 'new' site should be saved in the 'new' folder as I mentioned above. Otherwise you will have a nightmare trying to sieve one site from another.

Take a deep breath, please, and tell me what you are trying to do and what you are struggling with. we will get it sorted, okay?

This is just in your pc. Where have you got the new pages you have made now?

When you have them safe and together in their own special folder then we check that you have done the CP stuff correctly.

Did you log into your CP and add-on your new domain? If that's a yes, then we can move to publishing.

Open you BV pages as you normally would. Hit the publish button, as normal. Now then leave all the fields the same EXCEPT the last one which will probably say public.html. Edit this box and add /newdomainname to the end of public.html

Obviously newdomainname is the actual name of your new domain - no .com or anything else. Then publish.

If you have any questions - I'll be here - just come right back and ask, okay?

Ive created a seperate folder within the bluevoda account folder as where my original files are. The pages I have been working on and still have more to do are in that seperate folder.
yes, Ive correctly added the new domain in CP. and double checked it..I followed the tutoral to do that.
I have renamed the first page index.html in the new folder..do I publish that?

Yep, you should be set to publish that now. Make sure you publish to the correct directory, as I mentioned in the last post.
