messed up email

I tested my contact page by sending an email to myself. Before it would send it two messages came up asking me if I was sure I wanted to send this and warning me that a third party could view the email. When I checked my email, the test was an attachment. I don't like any of this. How can I get this to act like a regular email program?

Send your data from the form to your e-mail address via a php script. There is ample info on this site regarding it.
