email problem

I have set up an email acount through thunderbirds email system and I have a real problem. I can recive mail but can not send mail because it says it cannot find the server. I found something that said that my server for email has not been authenticated. I followed the steps in the tutorial one by one. Now i am completely dumbfounded. Can anyone help ME.

Thanks for the idea Voda Host, but i already have. I have done everything short of call the ISP which I will shortly. BY THE WAY I have tryed using IncedMail for the email as well. Your tutorial link go to Pegasus instead of Incredmail. Though id let you know.

This email is the biggest brain teaser for me to date.
