    email from viewers

My ISP is AOL. My web site is www.gilbernalmusic.com. It has a link for email which works for people on AOL and doesn't work for anyone else. People on IE or Firefox or whatever cannot email me using the web site link. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi David

I myself use IE and I can click your link and email you at that address.

Here is the problem, some people do not have a default mail server on their computer ... what happens when I or anyone else clicks the link, is their default mail handler opens, if they have one, so this does not work for everyone.

What you might consider doing is using a contact form, there are threads talking about this and tutorials for such, or you might consider having your email address as text as well, so that people can copy and paste your email address into their preferred email server.

I beleive David means that he does not receive the emails.

If that is so, please note that this is a known problem with AOL, their filters place emails in the junk (spam) folder all the time.
It is not a problem with your site or the link you have on your pages, it is your ISP problem.

If this is not the case excuse me for misunderstanding.
