E-mail setup in Mac Mail program

I followed the steps in the tutorial successfully.

Then I tried to manually setup the account in Mac Mail as a POP account. I could receive messages but not send them.

I removed that account from the program and instead did the automatic IMAP configuration offered through VodaHost. Again, I can receive e-mails but not send them through the appropriate server.

Any ideas, guys? Thanks!
