Sending mails without an exchange server

Hi,
The exchange server at work went south recently, which implies that i cannot send mails from my ASP.Net application like before. All my mails just sit comfortably in my 'Queue' folder.
Please what do I do to be able to send mails, especially mails that wont land in Junk folders.
