Are you having trouble setting up your email accounts? Please follow the
below steps to the letter.
1) Make sure you have a VodaHost web hosting account.
2) Watch the below email tutorials.
If you say you have already watched them. Please watch them again!
3) Make sure you have created your email account in your control panel.
This is a very important step that most people forget. Click the below to

4) Remember your POP & SMTP setings are always mail.YourDomain.com
5) Your username is always the email address that you created in your control panel.... ie John@smithshoes.com

Lets assume your name is John smith and your domain name is smithshoes.com
For Outlook
1. In Outlook goto tools > Email Accounts
2. Select add a new account (next)
3. Select POP3
4. Your Name: John Smith
5. Email address: John@smithshoes.com
6. Username: John@smithshoes.com (Your Username is your full email address)
7. Password (the one you made when you created the email account)
8. Incoming POP3: mail.smithshoes.com
9. Outgoing SMTP: mail.smithshoes.com
10. Leave the log in using secure server tab empty
For Outlook Express
1. Open up outlook express.
2. Tools > Accounts > Add > Mail.
3. Display Name: John Smith
4. Email Address: John@smithshoes.com
5. My Incoming server is: POP3
6. Incoming mail: mail.smithshoes.com
7. Outgoing mail: mail.smithshoes.com
8. Account Name: John@smithshoes.com
9. Password: The password you made when you created the account in the control panel.

Case 1
Lets say you have done all he above steps to the letter and your email still does not work.
There is a chance that your ISP is blocking you. Email goes out through Port 25 of of computer.
Please call them and ask them if they are blocking port 25, if yes, DEMAND that they unblock it.
ISP's block Port 25 sometimes to stop people from spamming.
Case 2
You are going to love this one. There is a possibility that your ISP has given a a blacklisted IP
Address. This is easy to verify.....
Step 1
Click Here to visit IP Chicken to find out what the IP address of your home/office computer is. It will ble formated like the below...
75.53.89.22
Step 2
Once you find out what the IP address of your computer is....
Copy and past the below link into your browser, replacing the 00.00.00.00's with your home/office IP address and hit enter.
http://www.robtex.com/rbl/00.00.00.00.html
If your IP address comes back dirty....Call up your ISP and give them hell!
Case 3
Sometime ISP's demand that you use their name in your SMTP settings.
So instead of
Outgoing mail: mail.smithshoes.com
Your Outgoing SMTP will be : mail.ISPNAME.com

All the above cases require that you make a simple phone call to your ISP.
