I am transferring spa-lighting.co.uk to VH from Lycos. At Lycos I have unlocked it, asked them to change tag to ENOM and I have put my support tkt into VH to pull it through.
Question is about email. My business depends on my pop email being up at all times.
1. At what point does it transfer to VH server from theirs?
Presumably I have to create my email on VH as per tutorial. But when?
2. Do I have to wait to be notified by VH that you are now hosting or can I do it in anticipation. (My guess is no, as I would in effect be trying to create an email address that is already taken).
3. So if yes I have to wait, is there a downtime?
I am sure I shall have other questions depending on the answer, but if I can just put this part to bed first.
