    Can't receive emails in cPanel

Since I have not been able to receive emails in cPanel, in my email page that I made in BlueVoda using the form wizard, in the form properties window, I changed the email address from my cPanel account to my private Gmail account. I published the page, filled in some information, pressed submit, and I received the information in my Gmail account instantly. Is there any problem doing it this way and bypassing the sending of the mail to my website account completely? If this is okay, why doesn't everyone do it this way? Would I be missing out on something by doing this?

You can do it this way no problem. I dont understand why you cant get mail in your cpanel.. but.. thats ok.. if it works to your gmail alls good.

      Thanks for responding.

I don't either. No one else seems to understand why I can't get mail through cPanel either.

Anyway, directing the mail through the URL in the form properties window directly to my Gmail account seems like a much easier and direct way of getting mail than first going through cPanel and then using another program like Outlook or Thunderbird to get the mail. Why is the latter method recommended?

Most people want to use their domain mail for this. Most of the time it is easily done. Just as easily as getting it at gmail.

What does that mean, using their domain mail? What will I be losing out if I don't use my domain mail?
