Opt-in email forms

I am attempting to add a contact form for a newsletter email list. I would like to add an opt-in email so when a person request being put on the newsletter list, an opt-in email would be sent with a link that automatically says they want to have the newsletter sent to them. Also, a means for unsubscribing is needed. I would appreciate any help in located information in forum about this area.
