I am setting up an email account in Outlook 2007:
I am at the screen entitled: Internet E-mail settings.
After Server Information is added, I am onto Logon Information.
I have one question:
Should the Logon Information be that of the Username/password of the email account that I am trying to set up, or my main Username/password (used to log into CPanel, among other things).
Seems like the obvious answer is the former, but when I enter the username/password of the email account and click "Test Account Settings", it keeps asking me for the username and password over and over again as if the one I have entered is somehow wrong. It says my e-mail server has rejected my login. The server responded -ERR Login failed.
I have tried what I think is EVERYthing!!! The only way I can get a "test account settings" to go through is if I enter my main username and password.
Please Help! Thanks.
