    Redesigning site

Hi all! This is really simple, but I'm not really 'down' with all this technical stuff & just wanted to check in case I mess something up... I am designing a completely new site (to replace the old site), and have saved it under a different path (still using 'index' as homepage etc), to get this up & running do I just publish? Or do I need to save over the old files (so that the path is the same)?...but that would mean that my links to graphics etc wouldn't be right, doesn't it? I'm getting confused...please help me!

Thanks Stroke.nz! So you're saying that I should be OK to just upload the files as they are?
I just don't want my site to be down for too long, so want to make sure I get it right the first time!
