My links won't work. I have bv 8. I double click on the text in my header and click the link and insert the info. The link icon won't light up if I only click the text once. I click on the graphic above the text to link it to the webpage and insert the url but it doesn't work. The one that used to work was the contact. I just tried to connect the preview. Can anyone tell what I am not doing correctly?

Nothing "lights up" in BV....I don't know why you keep mentioning this.
(It would also help to add your website URL to your 'signature' which you can do in USER CP- top left blue border bar of this Forum- that way we can always see what is going on with your site without trying to remember what it is!)
Do you remember my instructions? and how to not accidentally erase the default-highlighted "http://" ?? Please double-check your links....publish them, and when you use preview or actually land on your page again yourself, refresh your browser to load the new version.
In the meantime, I'll check it out and be back here in a flash....

Re: Links
These are the links on your site you've set for IMAGES...
http://www.hawaiionyourown.com/contact1.html looks fine, does not work (should it have a "1" there?)
http://www.hawaiionyourown.com/sales/html is incorrect (should be period)
http://www.hawaiionyourown.com/preview.html is fine, but no page published
http://www.hawaiionyourown.com/sales/html is incorrect (should be period)
http://www.hawaiionyourown.com/dedication.html is fine, no page published
http://www.hawaiionyourown.com/index.html is fine, works
http://www.hawaiionyourown.com/index.html# what is this supposed to link to? (this is your slide show)
And, you have not entered in Page Properties a Page Title for this page yet....really important! (Still shows as "index" in the browser)
Page Title is different than SAVE PAGE AS in BV...right-click on your page background, click on Properties, and in both GENERAL and META you will see where to properly enter the values.

Re: Links
I fixed all the errors. Yes there needs to be a 1 after contact because I renamed the orignial file. I keep mentioning it because it continues to happen. Contact used to work and now I can't make it work. It started when I put the 1 in it. I renamed the file because it had the wrong info on it. Maybe I should just redo the page. The pdf file is in c:\\mydocuments.blue voda.preview.pdf I don't know if that is the right path to write but I think you get the right idea.

My most occuring problems are typos. Some are very easy to commit and very dificult do detect. Ones like, http;// or something, com ,are espically
difficult if your eyes are tired or old and you screen resolution is too big, making everthing even smaller.
Taking your time and being careful will save you much time and greef.

Are you using a "Form" in the Contact page? If so, most email Forms recommended here at VodaTalk are not in PDF formats, so this remains a puzzle.
Aditionally, it seems you are having a conflict on Naming, Saving, Publishing, and Linking your pages yet. Continuity needs to be maintained throughout all your pages if they are to act properly, so you need be meticulous in verifying all links between pages.
You must also address setting the Properties of each of your pages, as they remain un-named (untitled), and demonstrates your struggle to properly Name/Save/Publish pages according to BV requirements.
I would first go through each page setting the values, properly saving them, and then go through again to confirm your links are consistent.
Upon testing in Preview, then simply re-publish them and "refresh"/reload your browser.
Then, you can re-work your Contact page with the desired function, with the more leisurely approach.....take your time, do it precisely. (Forms require a lot of patience to do, and it will try your patience the first time)
All of your problems are on your end, and have been addressed in detail in this thread already. You need to be able to see what the problems are and fix it since it is simple and part of a very easy to duplicate methodology (in BV). I cannot think of any additional "advice" to offer, other than to "Try Again..." which is like no solution at all. Sorry.

Re: Links
Scubadiver:
After renaming a page you need to open it, save it, and publish it. with the new name. Then you need to go to the link button or word and make sure the url matches the page you named. If you want more explicit help, you need to add your sites URL to your signature in the forum CP (control panel),
mine is http://www.circuspet.com. See it below?
