    lost thread

hello all... I asked earlier if anyone could help me with "scratch disks"
My photoshop won't open it tells me my scratch disks are full.. Does anyone know how to solve this dilemna?
I havent been around to see if I had any suggestions. (I recent had 6 family members hopitalized with major surgeries) So I haven't been able to check my threads and I cant even find it in the archives.... So I am re-posting...Anyone know about scratch disks?

    Thank you !!!

    Hi lmstss,

Sorry to hear about your family and hope they are all well. I don't know much about your question but be patient and someone willbe along shortly to answer your question and I know I saw your thread somewhere becuase I was curious as to what scratch disks were. Re: lost thread

Thanks beegud2 The link you provided was very helpful however when I try to open photoshop to try what your link suggests, I can't even open photoshop it pops off. Any suggestions?

The link you provided say try these 2 things:

A; go the file-preferences-plugins-scratch disks- then reset it but I cant even open phototshop without it poppin off !

        or

B; put photoshop on a different physical drive. I did try that too but I must be doing something wrong because that is not working.

Do you or anybody else have any expertise for me?

Thank you for your words for my family by the way !!!

Virus scan your computer 1st of all. Then Shut Down your Computer and Reinstall Photoshop. If it continues go to I'm guessing http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/ and send in a support ticket. Hope this helps out with your problem!
