    Website design size?

    Hi all....

I have designed a website, however people are saying that on the older monitors(14" or 15") not flat screens, that the site seems out of wack. I did get a chance to see it this week and on those monitors everything seems HUGE! and then they have to scroll over to view the entire page.

Is there a way to design the site so that it automaticly adapts to the screen resolution? I am using a 17" flat screen and my laptop is a 15.4 wide screen so everything appears great to me, but not for some of the people that are using the older monitors.

    Here is the link

Any help, tips whatever that anyone can provide still somewhat a newbie at creating websites I would appreciate it. I have designed websites before however Blue Voda is a new beast to me and I still have a lot to learn!

    thanks

    Re: Website design size?

Ok, I was going to edit my original post, but there is no where to do that!

2nd question. I have used the guide and put my page to 800x2000(since the 2000 does not matter) and told it to center in the browser. However it is not centering it in the broswer....am I missing something here??

    Thanks again

      Hi Eric,

CLick on properties and make sure your page is 800 by 2000 as it tends to go off when you work with files and move them a around. I always double check it before previewing and publisheng.

No prolemb mon...shout out if you need any other help.. and may I say nice site.

I offer a few suggestions to make it even better:

          1) place a menu bar on each page OR a NEXT AND BACK button to take you through your pages...probably should have a home link on each page.

          2) as you said make your pages 800 width and length can be any size.

Good Job and really nice work.
