How do i copy the index page ?

Hi,
I want to copy the main page (index),
To make some changes and then save it as another name.
I tried and it didn’t worked,

Do you have any suggestions?

I often "retire" index pages, and archive them in case there is an element or info that might prove useful at a later time.

This is simple to do, just by adding an "extension" to your index page Prior to SAVE AS, an example seen as : index_retired_ sept27 (Since it has no associated link, it will not present)

Be sure to have a replacement index page ready to save as index and re-publish first thing....
