    Quicktime

Hi, I have a number of quicktime video's I have taken with my digital camera that I would like to put on my website. However, the files (.mov) are quite big. My questions are: Does anyone know of any good (free) software which will reduce the size of these files or convert them so that they are smaller? Or, is there a way of buffering the files so that when people access them, they dont have to wait for the entire file to download, they can start watching the start of it while the middle to end is still downloading? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There is some great software on the internet which will convert the files to flash and set up options for how the file starts/compressing etc try a internet search

Also load the files 1st into cpanel and then put the url in quicktime, that would help
