How do I make my forums url fourms.ffaproam.com. I want the page to be my forums but in the browser adress bar, I want it to display forums.ffaproam.com
Go to your Cpanel, find the sub domain area and create the sub domain "forums" or whatever you want to call it. Then, go to Fantastico and install a forum into that directory (sub domain and directory being synonymous).
Or, if you already have a forum installed and don't want to restart, you can move the files from your current directory to the new sub domain directory and edit the config.php file to reflect the change. (This step is not recommended if you don't know what you're doing.)
ok 1 question. If I made the subdoamin forums.ffaproam.com. It automaticaly makes the directory ffaproam.com/forums. If I type in forums.ffaproam.com, won't it just redirect to ffaproam.com/forums? See, I dont want that. Staright up I want, in your browser adress bar (where you type in urls) to show forums.ffaproam.com NOT ffaproam.com/forums

That's true and I should have remembered it. I do all my installs manually and forgot that Fantastico needs to create the directory.
Either copy the files into the directory you want or just do a manual install of phpBB into the directory you want.
I'll do the install for you if you want me to. Email me at racefan20n11******.com with your Cpanel log in info and I'll fix you up.
1)Create Subdomain forums.ffaproam.com
2)Go to file manager, then the directory forums
3)Move my SMF Files to that directory
4)when I type in the url forums.ffaproam.com it will stay like that, it will not redirect or show ffaproam.com/forums.

It's difficult to diagnose without seeing your file structure. The sub folder works when you type in http://www.ffaproam.com/gow/ so it's definitely visible, but it's tough for me to say for sure why it doesn't work the way you want.
