    error 12003

    i think by trying to solve my problems i'm making things worse. when trying to republish home page i get following message.

    exeption error 12003
    200 type is now 8-bit binary
    227 entering passive mode (70 86 30 65 13 132)
    553 rename/move failure

    sounds bad to me!

    you have changed the folder name. make sure you are publishing
    to the public_html folder

      hi thanks for reply i've made sure i'm publishing to public_html and still get same response. i've had a look in the ftp manager and as far as i can see my index is still public_html. any ideas?

        You can look at the log file for more information detailed info.

        Menubar->Tools->Show Log File

          thanks pablo. checked out log file it says i'm using public_html so i still can't understand whats going wrong, i'm publishing to public_html and my pages say they are in public_html

            solved my problem it was all to do with permissions

                Hi,

                I see you too are having the dreaded "12003 problem" or lets say had it.

                In your postings I read that you solved your problem as you changed some permissions.

                Please would you mind expanding on this alittle that other users may resolve this "error" problem in a lot less time than we are taking and have taken.
