Linking gallery pictures to an iframe

Hello everyone. Great Forum!

How is it possible to link gallery pictures (thumbnails) to an iframe within the same browser window so as to show a bigger picture of the thumbnail in the iframe?

In the options of the gallery object there is not an option to link the tn to an iframe.

Can anybody help?
