Help with text!

I'm building my second site and am having a problem that I hav'nt encountered before. When I preview the homepage (index) I have 5 areas of text that have a white box around them, I have a beige background color on the page. All of the text was added to the page at the same time and in the same manner. Not sure what if anything I did wrong. Help!

Had a quick look but cannot see a problem........
All the text appears with the same background color and looks good, so what IS the problem??......cannot see those white boxes you mentioned.
