Where/how can I find out the IP of a subdomain? I tried 'whois' but that doesn't give me any result.
At my location I have a dynamic IP. The idea is to create a subdomain (assuming such has a static IP) strictly for my reps to logon to office computer for up-to-the-minute info on stock, pricing, order status, etc.
I believe this is possible either with port forwarding/tunneling, repeater or somesuch. I though it would be good to have the IP info handy when network guy comes over to have a look at possibilties other than dyndns.org or similar services.
Uploading the data to a subdomain every 5 - 10 minutes is not a viable solution hence my question about the IP.
Suggestions anyone?
