Pages Load In A Layered Manner

How come when I look at my published site, the pages are loading by layers? How can I avoid this?

Mmmm. It's something that we have worked around by designing the entire page in Paintshop Pro (or similar) and just adding text and buttons through BV. One thing you can control is the order in which the elements load. They load in the order in which you added them to your page. So if you think ahead and plan your pages bearing that in mind, it won't look so bad. On faster DSL connections the layering is hardly noticable. So I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Let me invite everyone to take a look and check the loading time for me please. My home page is taking about 4-5 seconds to load...but I'm on a remote laptop, but using Broadband.

I haven't got a super fast connection and, even after clearing my cache (from helping you earlier) it loaded completely within 2 seconds. I really wouldn't worry about that. See what the others think.

Agreed, don't sweat it too much. You can speed it up by following the advice already posted, plus running your pics through PixResizer to optimize them, but it ain't bad.

Muzicman, you didn't ask for a review - so I won't do that - but just want to point out that you have a non-sentence (or awkward sentence) here:

Your page loads very fast. I wouldn't be concerned about the layering, not a lot of users are going to notice.
