    SSL Certificate

I have been going back and forth between Voda Support and Sunshop (Shopping Cart Software) trying to get my SSL Certificate installed and working properly.

Voda keeps sending me back to Sunshop with questions about configuration. This is the last question made by Voda Support - Ask them if there is a configuration file where we may point the script to work with the proper URL, like all shopping carts allow.

The problem is that I am trying to get my SSL certificate to work. When you get to the Checkout pagehttp://personalizationgiftshop.com/i...ction=checkout Message states "There is a problem with this website's security certificate. The security Certificate presented issued to a different website address. Security Certificate problems indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server.

The software company states this has nothing to do with the software. Their last response was "There is nothing further to configure on the shop's end that will stop the alert from coming up to your customers. And the reason why I said this:
"To remove any doubt, upload a blank html page to your site and try accessing it via "https". It will give you the same alert that the identity of the site cannot be verified/trusted."
Is because that alert will come up when people visit any part of your site securely, unless the certificate is setup properly."

    Any help or suggestions?

    Re: SSL Certificate

Joanie, I see one problem - the checkout page needs to be https - not http - I don't know if that's causing the problem though.

Karen understands the SSL certificates and might be able to help - but she's gone till later today/tonight.

Also, you need to remove any links from your signature that aren't hosted on Voda.

      Re: SSL Certificate

You need to find out how Sunshop want your ssl installed, we do not know this product and can only follow your instructions. Do they want it with the www or without? any other issues? Sunshop is not our product and you are the first customer to ever use it that we know about.
