We are starting a project for a Client to make a small site for them.
We published up a page with a gallery within it for approval onto a sub-domain of ours we had been trying out previous ideas on. We removed all the old files within the sub-domain using fantastico and directly using BV FTP. We then published up the demo page to that sub-domain. When one checks the FTP all it contains is all the details related to the new page.... Sofar so good...... When we checked the changes from our computer all was well, however when looked at from any other machine one just gets an Index page with all the old stuff that was on the site before is was delated.
When you check the page from our computer using http://121wholesale.com you also just get the old index page, but only from our machine when you put in www.121wholesale.com you get the new demo page.
Why is the old material still showing even though it is no longer on the server as seen on our FTP and how can we get rid of the old stuff when it should already be gone?
It is not a cashe issue on the other computers. To check if it were the F5 button has been pushed repeadly for no better result.
It looks like it is a server problem. Any ideas or help much appreciated.
We even deleted the subdomain and reinstalled it before publishing page but this didn't work either!
Regards,
Rob
