Hi Guy's,

I have been using bv for twelve months now and it is great. I have a huge gift web site and it works well. I would like to create a trade section that will require a username and password. I know i will need to create a form for those details and for people to register but how do make it a secure page and how do i keep my trade pages from being seen by robots?
Have a reasonably small timescale to complete. Any help would be hugely appreciated. Have had some really great advice here before. Thanks in advance.

To stop robot indexing you simply can put a no follow into the robots.txt.

If you make it password protected secure pages, they won't follow there anyway.

Thanks for your reply.
I understand the part about the robots.txt file.

How exactly do i password protect pages?
And how do i make them all link together. Do i just link in the same way as normal?

You can password protect a directory and then link as normal within that
directory.
Go into your Cpanel and look for the password protect icon.
