hello everyone. i just regestered my domain last night. i got a few emails from vodahost with the ftp info and cpanel info. this is the very first website i have ever made from scratch. does it take a few days for them to get things online. because i clicked on the link and it doesn't take me anywhere. i get a parent directory listing. can you explain the whole ftp thing. and how the builder uploads, or is there a tut on this?

Have you built a site so that there would be anything to see?
If not, go to the BV tutorials, and start watching them, one by one, if that's how you plan to build your site. -

ok, i got it figured out. sorry about that. i forgot how to connect to the ftp. but i got it figured out through windows. my problem now is publishing. i have my login name and password. but it won't let me set the i.p and all the addy's that show up in the list don't match the one in my email. how do i set the addy for the publish buttonComment

found it. the fix was to download a new website builder program.Comment
