Hi everybody,

My name is Abu Bakar Ahmad and my my wesite is
"bumiweb.com".

I will soon be ready to launch my website into the world wide web but before I do will you all advise me on the steps I should take to protect my website from spam, hackers, phishing, spyware and vandalism. How much protection does Voda Host provide? What should I do on my part?

Hi Abu,

Spam = do not publish your email address on your website....use a contact page which sends you the email via a PHP Script.

Hackers = Vodahost has excelent protection, but nothing is safe from a determined hacker.

Phishing = always type in a url, do not just click on links received by email...be watchful.

Spyware usually effects your computer, so get yourself a good firewall and anti-spyware program..............

You will never be completly free from spammers, but you can at least keep it manageable.
