Putting company name faintly over pics

Hi,
How can I put my company name over pics (very light text) so no one can copy my pictures. I have seen many sights do it but not sure how they did. I have tried just adding text but when you copy the picture from the site you can still copy the picture and take the text straight off. So that was very dumb of me. So I did try first but obviously I did not succeed.
Anyone know what I am talking about? If yes and you know the answer I would love to hear from you.

What you're trying to do is called "watermarking". many photo editing software programs such as photoshop have this feature. Also..check this link HERE

If anyone is interested................paint.net is a great FREE photo editing program and did I mention it is FREE. It can do a ton of stuff to include watermarking and it is FREE.
