Having problems with downloading pages

Hi!! I am new so please bare with me. I hope you guys can understand what I am trying to do. Ok here goes!!
First my new website is http://www.craftingstyles.org
I have files for customers to download after they make a purchase. I went to the tutorials and the download e-mail I recieved and did what was told. I uploaded a folder named "Items in the FTP manager. In this folder has my files that people are suppose to download.
I will make an example here ok.
In my Items folder I have one of my files with ssd101
Now this folder is in "my document" ok I created files from microsoft word to go into this folder. ok. Follow me so far? Ok
On my thank you page I created a download button and the link is:

http://www.craftingstyles.org/ssd101.doc

Even if I don't put doc the link still does not work. I get an error page. This error shows up on all of the downloads.

click on the download button and you will see what I get. What am I doing wrong here? Do I have to pull all of the files out from the Items folder and upload each file separately? Or What? Also I am hoping the customers get these files in like a PDFformat.
Can you tell me what link I am suppose to have on all my downloads also? I thought I had it right but I guess not.

Any help is most appreciated.

First, I cannot find a folder on your website called "items"
however I did find an empty folder called "Items" ( capital I )

If you want your files to be downloaded as pdf then they should
be in the pdf format and end with .pdf

I hope that when you get this working that you will CHANGE the folder name and file names otherwise people can download them for free........
