Yes, for every domain name you purchase, you receive such an email. Since you have bought the addon name in Vodahostdomains.com, you need to ligin with the details you provided when you purchased it. If you have not received the email, check your spam or junk folder. If you don't find anything, submit a support ticket.
When you have your loggin details to loggin Vodahostdomains.com loggin and change the nameservers to be the same of your main account.
Yes, when you add an addon, it is also added as subdomain.
The two sites ARE published separately, meaning that the main is (usually) published in "public_html", the second one in "public_html/teamnewidea"
