    Profiles

    www.thesecretaffair.com

I would like to be able to ad 25 profiles to individual pages for my clients.

What is the best way of setting up the page so that my clients can upload up to 3 photos.

Do I need just male/female pages, or do I have to do the pages separtely because of age groups etc.

    Thank you.

Lets not put the cart before the horse, lets learn a few basics first, you named your pages wrong, your home page must be called index. Please click the below....

      Okay Done!

I still would like to know how I divide the pages and what functions to use in Blue Voda so that the clients can view all profiles.

The clients will also need to upload their photos etc.

I also cannot find the clone button any more. Any suggestions?

      Troubled!

        Re: Profiles

Joy of dance there is no file named index at your site and as such all that is showing is a list of all the files you have on your server. You need to rename your main home page file as 'index' as Voda said.

That whole thing is a mess.

You need to review the tutorials for Blue Voda, and you're gonna need a script of some sort to accomplish what you're hoping.

              Re: Profiles

I agree with VodaHost. Honestly, there are other ways to accomplish this, but they will most likely make things difficult for you in the long run.

Simply, you would need a way for you clients to provide data and photos that will be loaded into a database(via a form and script), then you will need scripts that will display that data and photos the way you want it to...when appropriate. each profile will be a record in a database, and each category of data in the profile (i.e. - age) is a field.

Honestly I think you bit off more than you can chew. Online dating site will be super complex. I don't want to discourage you, just let you know what you are getting into.

Yes, I am trying to copy Somespecial.com.au

I have indexed the front page as shown in the tutorial, although I hadn't published it before you looked at it.

                    Much appreciated.
