Url's??

So if I understand correctly every item (text, pictures, buttons, etc) has to have a url linking it to that particular page....is this correct? What does "self, blank, parent, etc." mean" How is that used?

That would be correct if you want to go to another page from this item. However, you can have images, pictures, text on your page that are not linkable.

For all of the links that are part of your own website, do not put anything in this area. Leave it empty. If however, you are directing people to another website, leaving your ownwebsite, then use _blank in this area. _blank opens that link into another window in your browser ... this helps so that when the viewer closes that page, they will still have your website open in their first window or whatever.
